Want to follow a traditional yoga practice for a change? I will be teaching a traditional Sivananda Hatha Yoga Intermediate level class. There are basically 12 postures that are done within a 90 minute period. You do not have to do all 12 postures if you don't want to, however a basic back ground in yoga is required. If you're an advanced student in another style, that's fine. You will be able to work at your level. If you wish to learn something new, and I feel you're ready..no problem. Sun Salutations, Breath work, Final relaxation and Yogic philosophies will be mentioned. Basic chakra understanding and some Sanskrit terminology is helpful, but not necessary. Smiles and laughter is also always welcome. A focused mind, open heart and willingness to accept your practice and those of others without judgement is the best way to promote peace within and without.
