What we're about

Tired of Skating Alone? The "Sobe" Rollers Inline Skate Club organizes several group skates a month in Miami Beach and the surrounding neighborhoods. Our largest and most popular skating event takes place on the first Friday of every month. We call it the Fabulous First Friday Skate. That's when skaters from as far away as Pompano, Boca Raton, Naples ... and beyond ... converge at the intersection of Washington Avenue and Lincoln Mall Road (new meet up location as of 01/2009) for a police escorted tour of Miami Beach. Members of the National Skate Patrol (NSP) are also on duty to ensure that everyone returns safely. We gather at 6:30 PM and we roll at 7:00 PM sharp! This is a FREE event and cyclists are welcome to join us. Bring your friends and family along for an evening of "rolling" pleasure. To learn more about the First Friday Skate, the Sobe Rollers Inline Skate Club, and the National Skate Patrol, visit our website at http://www.skatemiamibeach.net or contact bernadette west at bwest@bellsouth.net.
