What: LOST - Lake Okechobee Scenic Trail

Meetup Description: LOST is one of the most beautful trails in Fla. You will have smooth pavement, lots of wildlife, and great scenery !!! We will do an out and back (18 miles ) total and then picnic as the alligators watch from 10 feet away waiting for scraps of leftover food and hopefully not you! You will feel like you are on vacation even though the trailhead is only an hour and a half drive from Ft. Lauderdale or North Miami. Bring burgers, hot dogs, chips, drinks or anything that you want for lunch. There are plenty of grills available and a great picnic area at the trail head

When: Sunday March 1st
Time: Skate departs at 10:30 am
Meeting Place: John Stretch Trail Head US 27 just north of South Bay

Directions: Take 595 to US 27 North, The town of South Bay is where the lake starts. Stay on US 27 and you will see the John Stretch Trail Head on the right about 10 minutes out of town. If you arrive in the town of Clewiston you have gone too far. We will park on the far north side of the Trail Head by the picnic tables.

CAUTION :: OBSERVE THE SPEED LIMIT THROUGH SOUTH BAY. YOU WILL GET A TICKET IF YOU SPEED !
