What we're about

Since the election, my vision for this group and what this space can be used for has evolved. It is a group for intellectuals, educators, the educated, activists, scholars, organizers, rebels, civic and politically minded people. We'll be meeting for discussions on current events, history, politics and culture, and will also explore opportunities for local activism and community support.

1. Facilitate and organize events that help build community while enriching and empowering attendees

2. Carve out a safe space for reflective and open dialogue, that is respectful, inclusive, and fact-based

3. Help support local progressive organizations and activists

How you can help:

1. Volunteer to organize a meetup

2. Attend the scheduled meetups

3. Spread the word and get your friends, families, and networks involved
