Learn to ski or learn to ski better! Whether you are a beginner who wants to ski for the first time or an expert looking to refine your technique, this is your chance to learn with the SCWDC Ski School. Our instructors are certified by PSIA (Professional Ski Instructors of America (http://www.thesnowpros.org/)).

Schedule:
8:30 am Check-in. Meet in the Cafeteria.
9:30 am Lessons begin
12:30 pm Lunch
1:30 pm Free time to ski
Trip Includes:

Options:
• Rentals - ski, boots, poles, or snowboard and boots.

Not Included: Transportation to the ski area – participants provide their own transportation.
This is a Provide Your Own Transportation (PYOT) trip.
If you need a ride or can offer a ride, please use the comment section below to coordinate transportation. The trip leader will not arrange carpools.
The lunch voucher can be used for any of the following options (subject to change):
Option 1 - Cheeseburger or hot dog, French fries, cookie or fruit, and small drink. Option 2 - Bowl of soup, tossed salad, cookie or fruit, and small drink. Option 3 - Turkey or ham sandwich, chips, cookie or fruit, and small drink. Option 4 - Personal pizza, chips, cookie or fruit, and small drink.
Trip Overview:
The best way to learn to ski or snowboard is from a certified instructor. SCWDC’s Ski School instructors are certified by PSIA (http://www.thesnowpros.org/). We will have lessons in the morning and after lunch, we’ll practice what we learned.
Whether this is your first time on skis or if you are an expert, this trip is a great way to improve, to have fun while you’re learning, and to meet new friends.
Driving Directions: From Washington about 82 miles, 1 hour 40 minutes – allow time for parking, shuttle, rental 1-270 North to Frederick. Route 15 north to Emmitsburg, MD, exit left onto South Seton Ave. At traffic light, turn left onto Route 140. At PA line, Route 140 becomes Route 16. Turn right on Route 116. Liberty Mountain Resort is 3 miles on the right.

Cancellation Fees:
Through January 8, 2017, $10 cancellation fee is assessed.
After January 8, 2017, $10 and all unrecoverable expenses, if a replacement is not found.
This trip is open to all SCWDC members and their guests. Individuals under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult. No instruction provided for anyone under age 13.
