The mindfulness practices which are simple by nature give us the key to open our inherent capacity to face the challenges of our lives and support us on a path of wellness. Consistent cultivation of the practices results in deep life transformation.

The purpose of this group is to explore, cultivate, and support the Art of Mindfulness Living by providing training in practice and theory of the wisdom traditions of mindfulness and modern psychology, including meditation of breath, body, emotions and thoughts, body scans, mindfulness movement, and cognitive awareness and journaling. This work is based on the principles of MBSR and MBCT (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Cognitive Therapy)

The work as shared in group sessions lead to integration of mindfulness in the day to day living and thus bringing Awareness into all aspects of life.

The group will create a supportive environment where members can be a source of inspiration and motivation for each other to work together and on their own to nurture the mindfulness practices

The group intends to offer the following:

• Facilitating group meditation and mindfulness sessions

• Courses in mindfulness, breathwork and journal writing.

• Group sessions in yoga, and other movement practices

• Free Lecture series about these practices

• Special events - guest speakers; retreats and others at the right time during the group development process

Mindfulness Meditation - Theory and Practice - ONLINE Sessions

This drop-in program aims to cultivate key skills of mindfulness, by facilitating practical exercises with grounding in the conceptual framework. The practice is facilitated in a gentle and supportive way to encourage its integration in daily life.

Scientific research confirms that practicing mindfulness:

=> helps us in accessing and strengthening our inner resources.
=> equips us to respond to life's challenges with resilience and equanimity
=> supports us to gain clarity
=> empowers us to deal with stress effectively
=> brings compassion, wisdom, and power of choice in our life

The benefits of regular mindfulness practice can permeate into all areas of life - physical, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual. The aspiration behind this program is to alleviate suffering and causes of suffering for all and to bring joy, peace, and ease in everyone's life.

When you will log in, you will see a screen that shows brief instructions for the coherent breathing practice while we wait for everyone to log in and settle.
The session process is as follows:
=> 7 - 7:30 - Welcome and a short practices related to the main practice as a warm-up, followed by some talk and instructions about the practice.
=> 7:30 - 8:00 - The main practice usually highlighting a particular aspect of mindfulness meditation.
=> 8:00 - 8-30 pm - A grounding Qi Gong 5 minutes stretches + Q & A - conversations to share the experience, ask questions, or offer comments.
