Lieutenant Colonel Kane Mansir will be discussing where technology meets leadership and his experiences in balancing those. He will share lessons he has learned in over 15 years of active duty military experience and how the military’s relationship with technology based companies is imperative the community of interest.

LTC Kane Mansir is native of Illinois and was commissioned as an active duty army second lieutenant in 2002. He has served and led at all levels from platoon to brigade to include multiple tours at the General Officer staff level and as the Executive Officer to the Deputy Commanding General, US Army Special Operations Command.

LTC Mansir has deployed numerous times in support of global war on terror to include deployments throughout Africa where he led dozens of special operations missions. He has served in U.S. Army Special Operations since 2006 to include service in the 75th Ranger Regiment.

LTC Mansir holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Forestry from Western Illinois University and a Master of Arts Degree in International Relations from Webster University. He has attended numerous military courses to include Advanced Regional Analysis Course (Europe Seminar), Russian Language School, Ranger School, Ranger Assessment and Selection, Military FreeFall Jumpmaster, Static Line Jumpmaster, and Survival Resistance Evasion and Escape – High Risk. He has worked on numerous initiatives with several tech giants to include Amazon and United Airlines.
