When possible, Skyline Hikers of the Canadian Rockies offers six-day excursions into the spectacular backcountry of Canada’s renowned Rocky Mountains. Hiking gear is carried in and out by packhorse, so hikers carry only their day pack! Leave the lugging to us and enjoy stunning scenery and warm camaraderie during an unforgettable Skyline adventure.

Mill Creek Valley (Ontario)
Duncan Parking Lot, Ontario, Duncan Parking Lot, Duncan, ON, CAIf you are in Ontario, please join us on a day hike to Mill Creek Valley (near Duncan, Ontario). You can learn about our plans for hikes in 2027 and 2028 as well as enjoy the Ontario countryside.
The hike will be a loop starting at the Duncan Parking Lot, proceed along the Bruce Trail to Pinnacle Rock and Metcalfe Rock, then back along the Chuck Grant Side Trail. The loop is 10.4 km with some moderate hills. Bring your lunch.
Starts at 10 am Eastern Time Zone.

Reference #2: Walking Through Time, 2nd Edition, Beaver Valley Bruce Trail Section by Beth Gilhespy. We hope that Beth will be able to join us on this hike.
It is a requirement to read the following trip posting carefully and to make the proper and responsible preparations.
Required Gear: 1 to 2 litres of water, hiking boots or hiking footwear, hat, a synthetic layering clothing system including rain gear and insulating layers, medications.
Strongly Recommended Gear: Personal first aid kit.
Optional Gear: Communications devices (there may be limited or no cell phone coverage at this location), lunch/snack, map of the trail.
As per our policy, a waiver form must be signed at trailhead. You must sign it before you are allowed to participate in this event.
