Presentation in the English language

The current boom of artificial intelligence and intelligent technologies has and will have a significant effect on society and individual lives. How to reap its benefits and avoid its risks?

In this talk, I will elaborate on several topics where technological decisions have ethical/moral dimensions: human-AI value alignment, big data, predictive algorithms, and human autonomy, affective computing, internet of things, autonomous weapons, effects of AI deployment on the job market. I will also briefly present the current regulatory efforts on the EU level (AIA - Artificial Intelligence Act in preparation).
