We run around the large reservoir at the bottom (by the tennis courts), run up the long way by the now closed reservoir, and then do a second loop around the raised reservoir. We run up one last hill to the top, and then down down down! It's slightly over 5k (3 miles); pace adjusted for the group.

This is an out and back course. First part is mostly up hill, return is mostly downhill.
Distance and speed will be determined by those in attendance. Usually 3-5 miles at an apx. 11-12 min/mi overall pace.
Parking on site is limited, but street parking is available either to the north or south (go past the track, turn left at light)
Event may be cancelled if there are no RSVP’s within one hour of event
This is an event for those who would like to slowly build up the distance to run either a half or full marathon
While still recovering from an injury I am beginning again to prep for my first marathon. I would love to have some company on this journey. Who knows you may decide to do a marathon yourself. :)
The goal of each weeks run is to add 0.25 to 0.50 to the distance ran the previous week, until the C.Z. trail can be completed.
The pace for this training will be slow. Long slow distance training.

We will run a figure eight waterfront loop. The first loop is apx. 3 miles, ending at the starting point, for those that wish to continue the second loop is apx. 2.50 - 3.00 miles again ending at the starting point
Pace will be 10+ min/mi.
Please use street or visitor parking
