WeMake: October 2016 Women Makers

Following the success of our last meetup, we are pleased to announce the next WeMake event! Traversing the makerspaces of London in order to make more of an impact, this time around we are based at the wonderful Makerversity in Somerset House.

WeMake works to address issues of accessibility and inclusiveness in maker spaces and the maker community. Maker Spaces are inclusive places full of opportunity and encouragement; yet participation in Fab Labs and Maker Spaces is still predominantly male.

In this series of events, WeMake have organised female speakers to talk about how they became involved in the maker community and demonstrate some of the amazing projects they have been a part of.

Note: While we are focusing this event on women, we're women inclusive, not women only.

Due to the amount of doors in Makerversity requiring an entry card, attendees will be escorted from the reception area in groups, so please arrive on time!
