What we're about
Smart City Hub is a leading group for connecting startups, entrepreneurs, engineers, data scientists, designers, developers, and students who are interested in advancing Smart Cities in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
Smart cities use technology, data, and analytics to improve cities: to protect people, conserve resources, improve mobility, promote public health, and more. Researchers, companies, non-profit organizations, and city governments are using computing, communications, and sensor technologies to design, develop, and deploy data-driven, analytics-augmented systems, services and infrastructure. These smart city approaches will improve all aspects of city life and operations, from transportation and public safety to environmental quality and sustainability, from healthcare and housing to education and economic development.
Our aim is to connect people with different skills and resources to make smart cities possible. Our meetups include speakers and professional networking. Come join us to make the world better for all, city by city.
