In an age where technical products are penetrating most areas of our lives, it is as important as ever to make sure that they are accessible for all. Indeed, technical products have the power to open up communities and link individuals to modern society, however, they can also leave people feeling isolated and left behind.

We traditionally think of accessibility as being an issue for developers and designers. We will show how in fact accessibility is a concern for the whole team such as management, marketing and your bottom line.

We will open with a talk by Romaric Pascal, front-end developer at CookiesHQ. The talk will give an overview of what accessibility means for web development and present how it involves the whole team, from developers to stakeholders, through project managers, designers, content creators, testers... It'll give specific examples of what to look for each of those domains to help start improving their site or app accessibility right away.

We will then host a panel of experts including:
- Romaric Pascal, front-end developer at CookiesHQ (https://www.cookieshq.co.uk/posts/author/romaric)
- William Britton, founder and CEO at AutonoMe (https://www.autono.me.uk/)
- Jon Gibbins, digital accessibility consultant (https://twitter.com/dotjay)
- Miles Johnson, designer at thoughtbot London (https://thoughtbot.com/london)
- Eriol Fox, design Lead working at Ushahidi (https://www.ushahidi.com/)

We will be offering one lucky attendee an accessibility audit after the event! Keep an eye out on how to apply on the night.

Food and drinks will be provided.
