What book have you read recently?

So far this month I have read Fingersmith by Sarah Waters, The Wasp Factory by Iain Banks and The Robber Bride by Margaret Atwood.

Who is your favorite book or author?

I can't choose just one. The favorites include- Fitzgerald, Cormac McCarthy, David McCullough, Jane Austen, John Irving, Kawabata, Margaret Atwood, and Jeffery Eugenides are the first to come to mind.

What books would you like to see us read at Book Club?

Anything with value or culturally significant. I rarely read fluff. It happens, but I am not into a book club for it.

What are the group's requirements regarding RSVPs? No Shows? (Hint: Click "Pages.")

Alert the organizer early to ensure accuracy with reservations. "Please only RSVP "yes" for events that you honestly plan to attend. If you RSVP "YES" but do not show up more than twice without letting the organizer know, you may be asked to leave the group."

Look through some of our past & future book club meetings... What one book have you read, or would most like to read? Why?

The meetings in the last couple of months are books I have added to my to-be-read list. They had peaked my interest which is why I am interested in this group. I have previously read Life of Pi, The Unconsoled, and The Violent Bear it Away.

Introduction

Reading is awesome.
