Where Fun Lives! SoCal FUN - Update September 11.

Today is the 10th anniversary of 9/11 and the events that have forever changed the way we live. I wanted to honor all those that died that day and those heroes that fought so hard to save lives and give themselves to our wonderful country. Much of who I am today has been shaped by those events and those that know my story understand that this moment in time was a life changing event for me. I am proud to live in America and know that in spite of our differences and the recent hard times we have had, we are still by far the greatest country on this planet. Meetup itself was started because of the events of 9/11 as a way to bring people together in hope and friendship. That is something that to this day is still my goal. I have been blessed to have met so many wonderful people and one thing I have learned from this experience is that no matter what a person's beliefs are, no matter what our cultural or other differences are, we are still part of this great gift called life. I give these Meetup groups I organize as a gift to everyone for hope, for friendship, for fun and to honor life itself. Enjoy our time together my friends, I promise to never be cruel or petty in my dealings with anyone. I hope that we will move on to a better future together and share in all the diversity that this world offers us. Again, to those that made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom, we will always remember you and enjoy the life that you all worked so hard for us to have.

To America and all the wonderful people that live here, we are one nation under God, with liberty and justice for all.

Thank you for everything America.
