Battle of the Mariachi Festival, Ninth Annual- Mission San Juan Capistrano

Possibly my favorite event every year - this is the ninth annual Battle of the Mariachi, in beautiful Mission San Juan Capitstrano. This is an opportunity to be immersed in live mariachi music and fabulous authentic Mexican food. The color and motion is fantastic. All of the performers at under 21 years of age. Between the bands and the Folklórico dancing, there are plenty of opportunities for wonderful, colorful shots. The festival is free with paid admission to the Mission. The festival is from 11:00 to 4:00. $9.00 admission to the Mission, includes the festival.

I've scheduled this event in the past with both meeting places inside and outside the venue, however, since it is such a fluid event, let's just meet inside when you get there. Look for other folks with cameras :-)
