SWT: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Going/Waitlisted works a bit differently for this meetup. All are welcome to attend, but those with the limited "Going" spots will get first choice of seating (generally the couch), and those that are Waitlisted may join, but will likely end up on the chairs. Due to the serial nature of these meetups and peoples' fluctuating schedules, as I don't want anyone to miss a show they'd otherwise see every episode of.

The movie we'll be watching is The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy! "Mere seconds before the Earth is to be demolished by an alien construction crew, journeyman Arthur Dent is swept off the planet by his friend Ford Prefect, a researcher penning a new edition of 'The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.'" Come join the crew for one of my long-time favorite zany movies :-)

Originally starting with Stranger Things, we've continued this weekly event with Westworld, Dark, and The OA. This is a conversation-oriented casual viewing party, but the intent is to watch the show so we'll pause for any serious discussion. Location is my house. I'll message the attending & waitlisted privately with my address. If you don't get the email, check your meetup settings and message me.

Snacks & drinks brought to share are appreciated, I most appreciate the variety of tastes people have in snacking, so bring something you love! We usually stay an hour or two after the viewing for banter about the show, theories for upcoming episodes, and increasingly tangential topics.
