LET'S GET FIT!
So, time to get outside for some fun with friends and for some exercise. This meetup will be focused on body weight training, while discussing action plans for everyone to help them reach their fitness goals. We may also discuss nutrition and about taking what you learn at the meetup home with you so you can keep working on your own during the week.
This will likely be a monthly meetup, with possible extra meetups as desired. We may branch out for other fitness related events including specific events for discussing nutrition and goal achievement.
About Mallory - She is a huge fitness nerd and a self-identified former fat kid who has tried every trick in the book. She's lost 70 lbs on her own, and now fitness has become her passion. She wants to share her knowledge gained on her journey with others and wants to help members get more fit in a way that works for them. Parking - Lots of street parking all around and a small parking lot near the park. There is a rec center here, playground and large grassy area.
What to bring? - Dress in work out clothes, sweats or something that will allow you to move relatively easily. Jeans are fine if that is all you have. Bring water to drink! Maybe 2-3 bottles if you can. NO EQUIPMENT NECESSARY! If you don't like touching grass, maybe you can bring a yoga mat, but that's up to you.
