SoCal Steemit Meetup - Prospecting and a Picnic at the East Fork

Hey there all you SoCal Steemians! It's that time again for another meetup! The weather is getting nice so for this SoCal Steemit meetup I thought we'd get outside! A few of our members have shown an interest in trying some gold prospecting so I was thinking about hosting this meetup on the East Fork of the San Gabriel river. Those that are interested in prospecting can meet me early and we can prospect all morning. And then in the afternoon we'll get a spot at the picnic area and those who are not really interested in prospecting can still join us for a fun picnic at 'The Oaks'!

If you are planning to come prospecting you will want to bring a small back pack with some water bottles and some snacks. I can provide everything else we will need for prospecting.

The picnic will be potluck style so if you are coming please bring a dish to share with the group. You can RSVP by letting us know in the SoCal-meetups channel on our Discord server, in the comments on our Steemit post, or here on our Meetup.com event. And as usual we will have free SoCal Steemit stickers for everyone who comes!
