FAQ
Q: What is the address?
A: These events may occur at people's homes (private residence), so the address is not publicly posted. Sign up with Harvest Club in advance to receive details of the location.
Redundant Reiteration: I don't know the address. Please read the entire description and contact Harvest Club directly and they can provide the address/location.
To help, email volunteer@theharvestclub.org or hello@ocfoodaccess.org to check if they still need volunteers and to receive additional details (e.g. location/address, start time, etc.).

"Backyard fruit trees and gardens usually produce far more than a household can harvest themselves, leaving lots of fruit and vegetables that go to waste each season. This excess produce is a wonderful resource for the hungry among us who struggle to get healthy, nutritious food on a regular basis."
"This is where the Harvest Club (http://www.theharvestclub.org/) comes in! We harvest excess fruits and veggies from the backyards of our generous community members and donate the fruit to local food pantries and churches. Come harvest with The Harvest Club, where the fruits of our labor feed our neighbors in need today!"
"Please no harvesters under ages 8; ages 17 and under require adult consent. All children must be accompanied by an adult supervisor."
Note: Sometimes their events are canceled/rescheduled (e.g. the fruit trees aren't ripe/ready yet, the homeowner becomes busy/unavailable, etc.).
To help, email volunteer@theharvestclub.org or hello@ocfoodaccess.org to check if they still need volunteers and to receive additional details (e.g. location/address, start time, etc.).
They may have enough volunteers, so contacting them early is recommended and helps them coordinate & plan. (They may not always check email on weekends).
Wearing closed-toe shoes and clothing for working outdoors is recommended.
The homeless, low-income families, working poor, seniors on fixed incomes, children accustomed to junk food with poor nutritional value, all may benefit greatly from fresh fruit, so this seems like a worthwhile way to help. Thank you.
