What we’re about
The South Florida Python Users Group (SoFloPy) exists to unite and grow the Python (programming language) community of South Florida. With events in the Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Ft. Lauderdale, and Miami areas. (We know, it's a large area to cover but we do our best.)
The group is a branch of SoFloPHP. For more information about PHP please see http://soflophp.org
Our goal:
• Create a community where Python professionals grow together.
• Expand Python usage in South Florida.
• Help Python developers through mentoring and training.
• Create events that promote the 3 items above.

IMPORTANT: Recruiters and companies who need to hire: This is a user group where developers come to socialize and learn, NOT a head hunting resource. If you are not a developer or do not desire to learn more about Python, joining this group may NOT be for you. However, we do welcome meeting sponsors for an opportunity to reach out to members.
We've created a job board to help our member with finding a job, or for local companies to find programmers. http://jobs.soflophp.org
