What we're about

The Society of Healing Arts Institute (SoHAI) is Michigan's Alternative Resource Center for Holistic Health and Human Potential. We offer a safe space for building community through programs, workshops and events to connect with our inner genius and innate gifts while bringing ourselves back into balance.

This Meetup is for those looking to explore the many ways to live a healthy holistic life. By 'holistic', we mean the whole person,--physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Are you looking to make some healthy changes? Are you looking to get unstuck in some aspect of your life? Is there something that needs healing and now you are ready to embark on the healing journey? Do you suffer from chronic illness? We offer workshops on self-improvement, relationships, healing, various support groups including medical marijuana support, yoga, meditation and intimacy transformation. If you like holistic living, learning, self realization, fitness and meeting other like-minded people then come join us. We come together to share helpful tips, ideas and ways to be well. If you like, you can sign up for personalized health or life-style coaching

Connecting In Love: Weekend Workshop on Love, Intimacy & Sexuality

Ronora Lodge and Retreat Center

Details The workshop is designed to be a safe place for you to explore your inner world, as well as your connections with others. Our focus on Love, Intimacy and Sexuality provides fertile ground for self discovery, and true intimacy with others in a non-sexual context. In your Connecting in Love workshop, we invite you to be both empowered, and naked. Naked in both your body, and your emotions. What if there were truly nothing in the way? See more on why we invite you to be naked. You will have the opportunity to: Discover you are beautiful and lovable, just as you are. Let go of fear and shame that can block love and intimacy Practice speaking and listening from your heart Accept and love your body, as it is today Change habits and patterns that no longer serve you Feel the support of loving community Take risks, have fun, change your life Come let your guard down, let your heart be touched, and come home to yourself. “I learned at HAI workshops that I really am lovable and valuable, and I now believe people when they tell me, ‘I love you.’ As I have opened to loving myself, it has made my relationships so much richer, deeper and real.” ~K.L. FACILITATORS: Felicia Williams Cosey I've been facilitating HAI workshops for over 20 years - hard to imagine so much time has gone by! But, I'm doing what I love, one workshop, group, and individual heart at a time. My favorite color is purple, but orange is inching in as a close second. I love to cook, and my apple pie is internationally renowned - a family secret recipe passed down through generations. I'm the very proud mother of two beautiful grown children, a godchild with two beautiful godbabies, and two sons from my husband Tyrone. My joy in life is in helping people step out of pain and fear and into excitement and joy, in relationships and life-work. I consider myself a "transformation midwife" - and I love bringing all of me to support change and growth!
