Collective traumas and their impact on organizational effectiveness…
In the past 25 years of working with organisations, I had to learn to see a deeper level of their bahaviour. A level where -what we call- organizational culture many times is very fragmented, chaotic and lacks cohesion and wholeness. What is it due to? Many reasons we can name, yet this time we will inquire into the possibility of looking at organisations as living systems with their inner dynamics where trauma - ie. deeply impactful, unwanted, unexpected action - is exerted over its employees creating a field where disharmony becomes the underlying power, thus many of our interventions are useless, in vain until we address this deeper field. The morphogenetic field of an organisation that survived many regimes, many purposes and leadership may be traumatized and less aware of potential new directions, less intuitive and sensitive to new callings and potentialities. We will have a social trauma specialist, Anngwyn St Just, USA with us to inqiure into this topic.
