FREE REDDITORS-ONLY CAMPING/STARGAZING/NATURE WEEKEND!

So, i don't know if you guys know about the moon's cycle.... but this is the FIRST TIME That a NEW MOON lies on a FRIDAY!!! Which is the PERFECT TIME FOR SOME STARGAZING! The moon will be at NEW MOON.... means NO moon and NO LIGHT pollution AND BRIGHTER STARS!

We're also going to be elevated by about 9000 feet so we'll be above los angele's smog layer. and since we're in the middle ofa national forest, the light pollution from nearby cities will be minimized. WHICH MEANS BRIGHTER STARS

In my opinion, this spot is either AS GOOD or BETTER than joshua tree for stargazing. On this day the conditions will be PERFECT for stargazing and you may even meet some stargazing hobbyists and get to use their amazing telescopes to peer into the heart of our universe.

During the day we're going to be hanging out and doing nature stuff. There's really are no plans for Saturday.... but we'll be surrounded by lush beautiful wilderness so maybe some of us will go hiking to the summit of the mountain! I have personally brought a bicycle and raced down the entire mountain, so maybe i'll just do that.... But the possibilities are only limited by what you can bring yourself to have a good time! REMEMBER the sun shines during the day so you'll be stuck on nearly the peak of a mountain during the day without cool stars to look at.... we have no plansfor the day... none... and we won't nanny you either... you can go do your thing or you can join whatever crazy shenanigans we'll be doing. There are lots of hiking trail and more nature than you can shake a stick at.

TRIP SCHEDULE:
We will be at Mt Pinos at 10PM on FRIDAY. You can come ANY TIME AFTER US... You can come friday night, you can come Saturday morning, you can come WHENEVER. Fortunately there's still cell signal at the parking lot so if you get lost you can text me. My number will be in the meetup.com comments
