The Getty OFF THE 405: FREE Concert "The Feels" + DJ + Amazing Art

Saturday OFF THE 405 is the Getty Center's annual outdoor summer concert series: It's cool music, in a cool place, surrounded by people who think they're even cooler. And it's all free! Isn't life good?

The Getty is one of my favorite L.A. places. I should go there more: Looming over the Sepulveda Pass, this iconic white complex is stuffed full of world class art, the buildings have Instagram worthy architecture and it's known for some of the most breathtaking sunset views around.

So come join us and class up your weekend. We'll hang out in the museum courtyard, chill to music, hit the bar, roam the gardens, and we'll also pop into the galleries and gaze at some amazing artwork, sculpture and photography.

HOW TO MEETUP: HOW TO MEETUP: At 6:00pm we will meet in the Museum Entrance Hall by the Information Desk. I will be wearing a BLACK HAT and will look like I'm waiting for a large group of people to show up. (For the late people, I will also try to post our location of where we are at 7:00pm and 8:00pm, so you can join the Groupfun. )

FYI: We have about 95 RSVP's from different groups, but using Meetup Math I predict 29 people will show up...

DJ SET | Boss Harmony
The band is called FEELS, you might call them a psych rock band. Led by the electrifying Laena Geronimo, their bold, edgy pop music and high energy live shows match raw power with authentic emotion. FEELS walks in the footsteps of PJ Harvey, The Slits, and Patti Smith.

PARKING | The Getty is always FREE to visit but there is a $10 parking charge. So uber or carpool and share the cost.

DRESS CODE | People ask about this stuff . . . so here's the answer . . . No dress code, but try to match the venue or the crowd (always good advice). So maybe dress a little indie style, funky, or even dress yourself up a bit. And you might want to save your oversized Dodgers jersey or your MAGA cap for another day.
