Get some culture! Enjoy a free evening of art, music and entertainment at Pasadena’s really cool and totally FREE ArtNight. The city is full of art museums and cultural places that are rarely open to the public. Let's walk around, ride the free shuttle buses and check them out. We're definitely going to hit up the Norton Simon Museum -- let's see if Raphael, Picasso, and Rembrandt are really any good. Hell, its worth going just for this place -- admission is normally $15 but everything's FREE this night. There's a total of 19 different venues -- we'll be going to the best of them. Last fall, 28,000 people experienced the excitement of ArtNight. (But we'll have a somewhat smaller group of people). This is a fun night.

And, of course, no arts fest would be complete without food trucks, including Pie 'n Burger and Coolhaus and more. And about halfway thru the night we may stop into a local bar for a drink, and I'll find a good place for a post art walk afterparty if we're all feeling it, too.

WHERE TO MEET US: Meet at Pasadena City Hall (Yes, it's the fictional Pawnee city hall in Parks and Rec): Go up the steps into the courtyard -- and we'll be by the fountain. I'll be wearing a black hat or a black beanie (weather dependent) with an ArtNight sticker on it. Other groups are doing this event earlier, so I've made our start time a little later. I've posted this with a few Meetup groups so we should have a bunch of people.

PARKING: There's a garage near City Hall /255 E Union St for $5.00 but it can fill up. And limited street parking in the area. You can also take the Metro Gold Line.
