READ DESCRIPTION AND RULES REGARDING NO-SHOWS
Pay is $7 for scrimmages, $15 for our Sunday sessions which includes a lesson and a scrimmage
If you miss a game or cannot make it, please message us and we can move you to another session. We are not doing refunds anymore because it becomes too complicated. Just message us to be put on another game whenever you would like. ;)
DESCRIPTION:
ALL players are welcome (coed & all levels).
Sunday Sessions:
Please bring a ball if you have.
There will be a coach present, and a very good one at that (for those who are regulars, Oscar will be doing the session). We will go through a series of drills and practice basic-intermediate soccer skills. At the end of the session there will always be a scrimmage that can last anywhere from 20-40 minutes. Sunday sessions will typically last from 9am-11.
Side note about our winter games: During the weekdays, our scrimmages will typically last about an hour but may run over (between 60-90 min) depending on how many players are willing to stay. It will get dark but we will bring lights. As for the cold, we will play on regardless of the weather, even if it snows. However if the weather gets serious, keep a look out on the page to see if any games get canceled or moved to the following week. Worse case scenario if a game gets canceled you will have credit that you can use to be signed up for another game. Just send us a message and let us know when you would like to be put on.
If not enough people are signed up, expect the session to be moved to the following week. We will try to post 1-2 games per week. But during the spring/summer/fall season it will move up to about 3-5 sessions a week.
Side note about our summer games: During our Monday and Wednesday sessions, there is usually some sort of kids or fitness event on the other side of the field where we play; so we may start the game a bit later and start off with playing on a smaller field (after we will push back the cone to make the space bigger). These events usually happen only during the summer and they do cause a bit of inconvenience, but usually by 7:30 the crowd of people/kids leave and we can resume playing the game like we normally do.
IMPORTANT:
If you are on the wait-list and wish to get a spot next week, send a message and we can make that happen. If you are signed up to play and cannot make it, please let us know so that way someone else can take your spot. If you are signed up to play and are a no-show, we will not let you register for future games unless we are informed of your absence in advance.
Rules of play:
We play in a chill but competitive environment. NO slide tackling period. You MUST pass the ball to other players. This is a big one. Since our scrimmages cater to players of all levels, there will be some players that might need support on the field so do your best to offer it when appropriate. Please try to wear indoor soccer shoes or turf sneakers. NO FIRM GROUND CLEATS. Thanks. See y'all on the field.
