Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan are pleased to bring current Afghan MP Fawzia Koofi to Canada for a very short tour. Fawzia is the youngest Afghan MP currently in government. Her dream is to be able to run as a presidential candidate should Karzai step down in 2014. She is also an accomplished author, and her book - Letters to my Daughters, a journal will be available for signing at both events.


She will be speaking in Vancouver on Sunday, 11 March 2012 at two locations.

The first is at Hycroft Manor, home of the University Women's Club.

Social: 12:00 pm Luncheon 1:00 pm Speaker 2:15 - 3:15 pm

The second event takes place Sunday evening at Van Dusen Gardens:

Doors open at 6:30, with the event starting around 7:00PM

Coffee/tea and a selection of finger foods will be served before and after the talk. A book signing will follow the event.
