What we're about

This is a group for people who want to push themselves and their fitness on a bicycle, yet find time for a coffee along the way. We'll organise morning/day trips of distances anywhere from 50km up to 120km to some of the most beautiful cycle trails in and around Melbourne. These meetups double up as training days for Social Cycles travel tours around Cambodia (with Social-cycles.com) but are open and free to everyone! The pace is leisurely and relaxed and we'll often stop for a bite/coffee or even picnic along the way!

Option 1: 7 days- Siem Reap to Phnom Penh Option 2: 11 days- Siem Reap to Kampot (and back to Phnom Penh) Option 3: 16 days- Siem Reap to Saigon (Vietnam) The style of riding is quite relaxed, with plenty of stops for photos and coffees along the way. Cycle Vietnam & Laos

Needs a location

Challenge yourself to cycle across the mountains of northern Vietnam and Laos, and be rewarded with an experience of a life time. Starting in Hanoi, cycle as far as Luang Prabang (11 days) or all the way to Vientiane (17 days). Cycle majestic mountains, go tiger spotting on eco-safari’s, stay in local homes, learn from NGOs in regards to the effect of unexploded land mines and enjoy incredible food. This is arguably our most challenging, and rewarding Social Cycles adventure. It is not for the faint hearted! You can find more information on our website: https://www.social-cycles.com/hanoi-to-luang-prabang/ The riding is on bitumen at all times, but you're generally either going up or down. You want to like hills if you come on this ride. Saying that, we don't cycle every day and there is a support van the whole way so if at any point you want to take a break, there's a van to give you a breather.
