For Info: Social Sand / beach Volleyball at Sylvia Market

Observatory Sports Club

I found it and believe it is worth trying once in a while. They play in a team of four - I didn't had a team and one team was willing to 'adopt' me and it will work. Charges are R50 per person to play, watching and cheering is for free.

Social Sand Volleyball at Sylvia Market

Observatory Sports Club

R50 per person, not US$. Can be played in a team of two each side or four each side, I have seen people playing five a side too, depending upon how many people show up. I found it only few months ago and believe it is worth trying once in a while. Charges are R50 per person to play, watching and cheering is for free. Lots of food variety in the market as well as pizza at the court.

First Wednesday Film Club (Free Movie)

Atlas Studios

The First Wednesday Film Club is a great a place to exchange ideas, network, or simply enjoy a fun evening in the company of fellow film enthusiasts. Even though the film club continues to attract a growing audience, the atmosphere remains friendly and relaxed. In the words of co-host Jonathan Gimpel: "It’s all about being part of a community; an eclectic incubator that shares resources to help independent film makers get better exposure and support.” Super-delighted to feature The Girl, the Mother and the Demons as the first film of the year, with legendary Swedish director Suzanne Osten in attendance! Thank you Hedda Krausz Sjögren, Embassy of Sweden.
