What we're about

Welcome to The Society Of Riders-Antelope Valley & Ventura County

You can visit our main group at www.societyofriders.com (http://www.meetup.com/The-Society-Of-Riders/). Even though it says based in Sherman Oaks we do a big percentage of our rides through the Ventura and Kern county, so please do not hesitate to join us there. The other main reason is that all benefits & discounts that are offered to our SOR members are put up there. As well as discussions, riding tips, items for sale, you name it SOR does more than just ride!!

Do you enjoy riding, making new friends, and socializing as a group? So do we!

Welcome to Society of Riders. Our riding group, is made up great people with a like-minded passion for exploring the nooks and crannies of California. Our love and enthusiasm for riding, along with plenty of experience from knowledgeable bikers, ensures you will get the most out of your day in a friendly atmosphere where two-wheel fun is the goal. We offer rides geared to all levels of riders, from beginner to advanced. Additionally, we do both local rides, for those that just like to get out for two or three hours, to rides up to 500 miles in one day.

What makes Society of Riders riding group different from the rest?

We are also a Motorcycle Club.

SORMC is a family club that loves to ride and lives the MC lifestyle. Our MC was originally started as a way to bring all riders together by creating and supporting our riding group. We are now also a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit charity. SORMC is committed to helping a multitude of charities as well as our own; known as “Families In Need”.

We are not a 1% club and never will be but we respect them and welcome them as we hope they all will welcome us.

When riding with us, you will experience what it is like to ride with an MC. Our rides are very organized and safety oriented. We always follow basic MC protocol, ride in formation and follow any safety rules laid out before each ride.

If your passion in helping others is equal to your passion in riding and would be interested in the MC, please feel free to contact us.
