What things trigger our conscience?

  • Sep 14, 2013 · 5:00 PM

Def. of conscience: an inner feeling or voice acting as a guide to the rightness or wrongness of one's actions. Where does this come from? Society? Soul? Genetics?

Food first. Meeting second. My conscience says that's the right order of things!

I am so sorry that I will not be able to attend. Woke up this morning with sore throat. Don't want to spread germs around.

Hi everyone. Sorry I've been absent from the last few meet-ups. It's been a busy summer. I won't be able to attend this weekend but do plan on attending again. I'm bummed because i've missed some good topics!

The factors for the being impulse of Objective Conscience arise in three-brained beings from the localization in their presence of particles of the "emanations of the sorrow" of our All-Loving and Long-Suffering, Endless Creator, that is why the source of manifestation of genuine Conscience in three-centered beings is sometimes called the "Representative of the Creator.  And this sorrow is formed in our All-Maintaining Common Father from the struggle constantly proceeding in the Universe between joy and sorrow. I sprayed a spider I suspected of being a brown recluse with bug killer. I did not pause long enough to consider what I really wanted to do. I sprayed it twice and then put the bucket it was in outside.

It took no more time than walking back into the kitchen to feel remorse at what I had done. Conscience. I am sorry, now, that I killed it, that I am a killer. I could have just put it outside. The deed is done. How is one ever forgiven for an act that goes against one's conscience?

Retha/Jonathan-regret not being able to attend these sessions and topics - it's been a hectic summer with family from India. I expect to attend in the future. Ranu
