Each child will provide a "Method" that modifies their Minecraft Avatar's armor, inventory, and abilities. All the players will get to play against monsters. We will modify Minecraft to count the number of monsters killed by each player.
If you have not been in past sessions you can still come to this one but you should arrive 15 minutes early to make sure you are setup.
Minecraft has become very popular with kids today. Does your kid want to learn how to program mods?
We are going to offer a five class course on Code Kingdoms Minecraft Modding. Code Kingdoms is a kid friendly Java development environment for Minecraft.
Parents are encouraged to attend, and are free with each paying child. The cost is $15 per child per class for a total of $75 for all 5 weeks. Select 1 when signing up for meetup even if multiple parents are attending.
You will need a laptop with desktop version of Minecraft installed.
We are including a temporary "Student" Code Kingdoms account with the Minecraft class. It will be valid the duration of the course.
After class is completed, if you choose to buy a membership to Code Kingdoms the cost is $ 89.99 annually https://codekingdoms.com/purchase-gift/
