Hi, folks :-)

Note: No prior experience in cloud computing is necessary to attend the talks. Everyone fascinated by the future of technology is invited to follow along :-)

Cloud computing is shaping the future. However, many companies are still trapped in choosing the sub-optimal cloud computing solution. We will go over the definition and differences between IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service), PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service), and SaaS (Software-as-a-Service).

The cloud SaaS approach, particularly in the form of managed service or serverless technology, is currently the most promising technology leverage for tech start-ups, big and small. It is very similar to the migration carried out by many companies to handle their e-mail services, from running qmail+Cyrus+Spamassasin themselves to just paying for Office365/G Suite/Fastmail etc.

We will highlight some of serverless benefits, from security advantage to the operational costs, to ensure that you can choose the right tool for the right job, instead just following what everyone else is doing.
