Discussion on emerging database technologies

Scott is the eGain data architect. He's been with eGain just over one year. His career has been 100% in Silicon Valley, Bay Area, California. Previously he had his own company, Elcaro Technologies - specializing in the design/implementation and management of database replication architectures. In that role he architected solutions for a number of large companies like HP, Wells Fargo, and Intuit, as well technology leaders in credit card processing authentication. Before his database career, he worked in the research labs (Schlumberger) researching the application of artificial intelligence to hardware simulation and automatic test generation.

His technical interest are next generation database architectures, applications of artificial intelligence, functional programming, Haskell, mindmapping technologies, next generation files systems.

His hobbies include mountain biking, books, movies.
