Groovy outside the IDE (and why it should be in your toolbelt)
Details
Hi, I'm Georg and I'm a Groovy enthusiasts.
Groovy is a dynamic language that runs on the JVM and had functional aspects long before the idea ever came up for Java.
Unbeknownst to many of its users, Groovy also comes with some neat tools to integrate it into your existing commandline tools.
I want to show you some tricks that I've picked up over the last few years. Afterwards, feel free to share and contribute your own!
If requested, I can also give an informal and brief introduction to the language or we can work on a kata together.
