Have an electronic song that you are struggling to finish? Want constructive feedback from a peer group? Interested in learning while helping others improve their songs? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then Electronic Song Share is for you!
This meeting will allow musicians/songwriters working in any electronic or digital genre to share one original song and receive feedback from the group. We will spend roughly 15 minutes listening and constructively discussing each song. If desired, you can request feedback on specific song elements (e.g., mix/production, song structure, instrumentation, vocals).
WHAT TO BRING: A playback speaker system will be available along with a 3.5mm headphone jack. Please bring any other cords/connectors you need, along with a playing device (e.g., laptop, phone) and any other instruments you desire. A laptop will be available if you want to play a track that is already online. Also, to facilitate feedback, please bring handouts (10 copies) detailing the song elements you want feedback on (e.g., song structure, effects used, lyrics, questions to answer).
