What instrument(s) do you use to write your music?

Mainly guitar, but sometimes mandolin, and, on rare occasions, piano.

What comes easier for you - words or music?

It depends on whether I'm just noodling around on an instrument, in which case music is easier, or if I hear lyrics in my head (while driving or just walking down the street, for example), which often come with some sort of melody in mind.

Do you imagine yourself or someone else performing your songs?

Realistically, myself (and maybe a partner) although it would be fun to have someone else perform them.

Are you interested in collaboration or finding a songwriting partner?

Potentially, once I'm more secure in my own songwriting abilities. I'm not opposed to the idea, in any case, with the right person.

What areas of your music experience are you wanting to improve? e.g. songwriting, marketing, networking, recording, airplay, gigs, etc.

Right now I'm focusing on the nuts and bolts of songwriting itself.

Introduction

I'm a musician of many decades who is finally trying to complete some songs instead of just collecting snippets and ideas over the years that never add up to anything.
