Fourth Annual Meet, Greet, Eat, and Mural Ride!

Celebrate our third anniversary and enjoy a leisurely breakfast with your scooter club at La Grande Orange in Phoenix! Our KSU time is 10:30 for a tour of Phoenix's downtown murals. Our ride will end at The Churchill, a collection of shops and eateries with ample shade, food, and restroom access. This in-town, low-speed ride will be compatible with most scooters.

A little Sonoran Sunriders Anniversary history:

October 13, 2018, on a gray Saturday, we held our Inaugural Sonoran Sunriders meetup at La Grande Orange. Mere minutes after our first official ride ended, the sky dumped 2.19 inches on our beloved Valley of the Sun. None of us got home dry.

Our first anniversary brought sunshine, good friends, and an enjoyable ride to The Hole In The Rock and Hunts Tomb. I think a busload of German tourists went home and bought scooters for themselves! Ultimately, this was the ride we'd hoped to have the previous year.

The day of our third Meet, Greet, Eat, and Ride also dawned bright, despite COVID-19 hanging over our heads. Twenty-twenty was the year we learned how perfect our scooters were for social distancing while still being social. We were honored to have The Sky Island Riders come up from Tucson to share in the festivities. What a great bunch! We also added two more local spots to explore, in addition to our traditional ride.

What will this year bring? Lots of good folks, beautiful murals, and fun!
