Calling all "African-American Professional Women!" This is a group for Sophisticated Sistas in the Southwest Florida Area. This group was created with the purpose of celebrating and embracing our culture and each other, while generating sisterhood and true friendships. This group will provide social opportunities for beautiful brown women to develop fruitful, supportive and fun friendships among each other. This group is for any woman who wants to build lasting friendships among a group of Sophisticated Sistas that will encourage, support and enhance the lives of one another.
Our members are welcome to post suggested events on our website or contact one of our organizers to share ideas. As a courtesy to our organizers and hostesses, please make sure that your RSVP represents your current plans. If something comes up and you cannot attend an event, please update your RSVP. Repeated unexcused absences will result in removal from the group. Membership fees for the group are $5 per member per year which will cover the website fees and can be paid through paypal or at a meetup event.
