Women's Intermediate Road Ride - Lead by A Sorella Club Member

River City Bicycles

Route: tba (leader to announce at ride start) -------- Invite We welcome women/femme/trans/nb riders of all races, ethnicities, and sexualities. About the ride The pace generally hovers in the 14-19 mph range, faster than a recreational cruise, but almost always conversational pace. Be prepared for hills and flats. We aim to be back to RCB before noon, but no promises as this is a no-drop ride, and the group will stop to fix flats, take a bathroom break once on the ride, and re-group at major turns on the route. What to bring We will assist you with flat tires that occur on route but you should carry: -a spare inner tube -flat tire repair tools -and a CO2 cartridge or air pump Winter tires, fenders, and a buddy flap are strongly recommended when there’s rain. Cycling helmet required. At the meetup spot If you are driving to River City Bicycles, they ask that you park on the street rather than in their parking lot and there is free parking under the Morrison Bridge. Please note River City Bicycles opens at 10AM on Saturdays (careful of cars in parking lot) and there are free espresso drinks or hot/cold chocolate milk waiting for you at the end of the ride! For more information please see our club rides page on the Sorella Forte Website: http://www.sorellaforte.com/club-rides See you soon!
