This is a group to bring clinicians together for dinner and lectures and networking. This group is for MDs, NDs, RDs, Nutritionists, ARNPs, Chiropractors, DOs who want to expand their knowledge in all aspects of Nutrition and Functional medicine. It is also a time to meet Reps from Nutrition, pharmacy and Lab companies and to learn about new products. Also come and meet new colleagues and get referrals. Our lectures are usually the last Tuesday evening of Sept, Oct, Nov. , Jan, Feb, March, April and May. We also may have hikes or other social activities like potlucks.

She is extremely well educated on the literature, side effects of drugs and nutritional treatments of Osteoporosis Lara is the Editor of Longevity Medicine Review and Senior Medical Editor of Integrative Medicine Advisors, LLC. Lara’s review articles in Integrative Medicine: A Clinician’s Journal can be found on PubMed and via ResearchGate where she is a member. Lara covers the breaking research on bone health via tweets, blogs, video clips, and Facebook Her next book is Healthy Bones Healthy You

Meeting Format: 6:30-7:00: Sign in, potluck & networking; 7-7:10: Formal introductions of our sponsors; 7:15: Speaker introduction and lecture

Food: We have food that is supplied by Secret Ingredients but if you want to bring an optional healthy potluck dinner item to share feel free(ideally GF and organic). We will have GF desserts from Wild Flower Bakery

Cost: $25, paid with a credit card ahead of time. We need a numbers count for our food vendors and will limit numbers because of COVID. This will prevent problems with lines, crowding etc. You can pay on the phone with a Credit Card for $25 at[masked]

RSVP: You must RSVP and pay ahead of time to attend and cancel if you can not make it. We are not accepting walkins and you can not walk in if you have not pre paid. SFMN is for healthcare providers only and was started in the spring of 2003 for the purpose of networking and supporting and educating health care practitioners (MDs, NDs, DCs, DOs, DDS, CCNs, RDs, RNs and other healthcare professionals). Our monthly topics span the areas of Nutritional, Functional, Naturopathic and holistic medicine. Please attend and advance your education as well as get referrals and meet your colleagues in the Greater Puget Sound area. Learn about new products from Nutraceutical companies, Labs and Compounding Pharmacies.

COVID policies: we will having Briotech at the meeting. They will have samples of their hand sanitizer to spray on your hands (and face if you want to). We will have someone serving food so the utensils are not touched. Do not come to this meeting if you have a fever or are sick. We will have our seats a number of feet away instead of right next to each other. Dr Musnick will also be explaining post meeting things you can do to decrease risks. We have a big entry area where you can meet colleagues, eat and keep a distance. Note if there is a change of the State Covid policies in regard to holding a public gathering we will notify you by text so please check your text messages the week before this meeting or call us for an updated status.
