What we're about
Mid-Life Crisis got you down? Feeling angry AF? Me neither! Ok. Maybe sometimes.
Looking for ladies that want to make real connections and explore some of the opportunities and challenges during this time in our lives.
We were born between 1968 and 1980 and remember when MTV had music videos, wearing baby doll T-shirts, Kevin Smith movies, and grunge. Our childhoods consisted of Saturday mornings watching Smurfs, Soul Train and American Bandstand and swear the best music of all time is 80s music. We probably come from divorced families, were latchkey kids and probably sad that we've become helicopter parents ourselves (if we have kids).
We are too young to shop at Chico's (no offense Chico's. I think you're the bomb for my mom) or have dinner at 4:30, but too mature and evolved to take shots off body parts (not ashamed to have done so in the 90s). We are looking for a group of ladies who don't take themselves too seriously and can also create a space for a sister in need.
It's an interesting time to be a woman. The bad news is perimenopause can last up to 10 years. Boo! The good news is that we don't have to go through it alone. Yay!
This tribe of ladies wants to laugh, cry, share, evolve, workout, dine, walk, maybe travel, grow and learn together. Got any ideas for meetup events? Let's figure it out together! I'm going to try this out for a couple of months and see where this leads so don't be shy and come meet us. The success of this group depends on us!
Some meetup ideas: potluck dinners, book club, checking out new restaurants, going to concerts, festivals, game nights, girls night out and in, hikes, walks, dancing, drag shows, escape rooms, comedy shows, lectures, and whatever the heck we want.
