A free concert by a phenomenal guitar master!

Alan Mearns is the greatest guitarist that most guitar lovers have probably not heard of! He is a master of the instrument, a composer, a singer and an arranger that has done the impossible: add harmonies and melodic lines to well known Bach works! His sound is clean, clear, full of color and emotion. His technique is flawless and unbelievably relaxed. Here is an example of Alan's artistry:

This concert is the first in a new series of free concerts, the "Guitarra en Fisterra" series, named after the venue, the U.C.S.C. Seymour Marine Research Center at the edge of Pacific on the west end of Santa Cruz 'Guitar at the edge of terra-firma.'
