What we're about

Have you ever wondered what the health impact of a stressful day was? Will you perform well during your long run tomorrow morning? Is there anything you can do today that would improve your ability to have a better day moving forward? HRV may be the piece of data that could help you answer these questions. Harvard Health Blog, Nov 2017 (https://www.health.harvard.edu/blog/heart-rate-variability-new-way-track-well-2017112212789).

This is a group for anyone interested in measuring Heart Rate Variability (HRV) to assess their physical fitness level and to determine their biological age based upon the response of their Autonomic Nervous System (ANS). All fitness levels are welcome. I started this group to offer a measurable tool to help motivate people to improve their health. You should join if you are interested in starting a wellness journey through movement and nutrition. The events will begin with introductions and a light stretch, followed by a 20-minute discussion of health topics. At the end of the session, new members will have an opportunity to get a free Heart Rate Variability assessment. As our group matures, individuals will be invited to share their success stories of how positive changes in movement and nutrition helped them to achieve meaningful goals in their fitness level, in their social confidence, or in their personal endeavors.
