Sketch at Historic Picchetti Ranch

We have a permit for only 18 members to sketch at Picchetti Ranch and Winery. This event is open only for members of South Bay Urban Sketchers. No drop-ins, please, at this event.

1:00 PM meet near the Information Boards as you enter the grounds from the upper parking area.

3:00 Reassemble at a picnic table that I will reserve when we get there.

Picchetti Ranch, is named after the Picchetti family, who emigrated from Italy in the 1870s. The Preserve features 3.7 miles of trail, the historic Picchetti Winery, farm buildings, an aviary and homestead buildings. There are hiking trails, views of Silicon Valley. We will have one picnic table for our group, so bring a stool or folding chair, if you need one.

Wine is available for purchase in the winery building. Collecting of any kind is prohibited. Dogs are not allowed.

The Preserve is located in the Cupertino foothills.

• Exit Foothill Expressway from Highway 280, travel 3.5 miles southwest (toward the mountains) on Foothill Boulevard/Stevens Canyon Road.

• Turn right on Montebello Road. The Preserve is 0.5 miles up Montebello Road on the left.
