What we're about

Be a part of an active, exciting group of tellers with an opportunity to serve the community. Workshops and mentoring to help develop story skills are available. We meet monthly for story swaps and business meetings to learn, share, and grow. Opportunities to participate and enjoy public events by the guild storytellers occur regularly. We each have our own style of storytelling that may involve acting and singing. Develop your own style of storytelling from your tastes, make a difference. Come check us out and join in the fun!

Qualified storytellers tell their stories at the Youth Leadership Academy (YLA) on the last Wednesday of the month and Joplin Ranch on the second Monday of the month. Also a number of storytellers tell at the Orangewood Children's Home on the first Wednesday of the month. Contact the guild for the details.
