Good food, good friends, and good conversation. Join a great group of foodies who like to cook nice meals, but don't want to do it for just 1 or 2 people. We meet occasionally on Sunday evenings at the host's house. The host makes the main course. Everyone else makes and brings a side dish or dessert. We have fun sharing food, drinks, and a few hours of conversation.
Here's the fine print: To participate, you must MAKE the food you bring. Exception: if you are bringing alcohol, you don't have to make it!
There is also a dress code: no t-shirts, no jeans, no sneakers. You don't need a jacket, tie, or evening gown, but we're making nice dinners and the attire should be a step above the usual.
You can come alone or bring a friend. (The friend has to make and bring something for the dinner, too.) You must contact the host when you sign up to discuss what you can make that fits with the menu. You will get the exact location of the dinner after you contact the host.
When you sign up, be sure to tell the group organizers that you have read the ENTIRE description, so that we know that you know how the group works.
