What we're about

Body percussion is a form of movement and music, using the body as a musical instrument.
You are invited to come stamp, slap, clap, and play as we create rhythmic orchestrations with our bodies, using hands, feet, and voices.

If you've seen and enjoyed STOMP, or if you've wanted to experience your own body as an awesome musical instrument, or if you're looking for a fun, physical way to improve brain health and develop neuroplasticity - This class is for you!

About the instructor:
Judy Freed is a dancer/choreographer, singer/songwriter, theater artist, and expressive arts psychotherapist. She directed two body percussion dance companies in Philadelphia: P3 (People Percussion Project) and BODD (Beat of a Different Drum). She was a guest teacher at Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania and the Philadelphia Dance Teaching Artist Group. She joyfully leads body percussion workshops for students of all ages, and is passionate about music, rhythm, movement, and creative expression.

All levels of rhythm and movement experience are welcome.
