As an iOS developer writing Swift apps, there are use cases where we would like to access Objective-C types in our own source code and vice-versa. This could be in the form of bringing in a third party framework or working in a mixed code base. Apple provides us with APIs and tools that can bridge the gap between these two languages. In this meetup, we’ll go over the basics of interoperability between Swift and Objective-C. We’ll also cover some common gotchas that we have experienced here at Modernizing Medicine and the workarounds to those.
NOTE : Please note the location has changed to the new Modernizing Medicine HQ, Light refreshments will be provided.
